I think that the left image (PNG) is better looking than the right image (JPEG) because the colour bursts out a bit more and the darker shades stand out more.
The task that we got set was to take 3 images/typography from the internet to create our very own film poster. As you can clearly see, I used 2 images and typography. The film is all about Connor McGregor's life and how he has become so successful with what he does. I used a very smart image of Connor and a city background to try present how rich and successful he is. Then the typography was taken off of DaFont.com to give it a stylish text, this is so that it would fit in with the two images.
